Goblin Combe is a self funding charity but we are always looking to receive further donations of any size. Please click the Donate button at the bottom of this page to pay securely via PayPal.
Examples of how donations will be used are as follows:
- £10 will fund the annual maintenance of a 1 metre length of footpath. Goblin Combe maintains 4.5km of footpaths which are open to the public 365 days a year.
- £15 will fund the purchase of materials, construction and siting of an owl or dormouse boxes in the woodland. This supports our conservation strategy and our commitment to attract and improve the diversity of the woodland.
- £50 would buy native trees to enhance our woodland and support our woodland management plan of returning the woodland to an English broadleaf woodland site.
- £100 would support the attendance for up to 10 children to experience a forest school activity in our woodland.
- £225 will fund either first aid or manual handling training for up to 12 adults attending our Work Programme.
- £300 will provide an activity for up 30 participants in our woodland. The activity could include a range of elements which could include team games, shelter building, fire lighting, an interactive story, arts and crafts, learning about history and many more.
- £350 would fund a residential stay for up to 38 people for one night
- £500 allows a business to sponsor an acre of our woodland; this donation is used to partly fund annual safety checks with the remainder given over to our work with disadvantaged and vulnerable groups.
Goblin Combe is a charity currently funded by donations, grants, trading and commissioning activity. Our trading enterprises include the hiring of our residential Lodge and providing activities in the woodland. In addition we also generate income through the commission of projects such as the Department for Work and Pensions Work Programme.
